Te Wananga o Aotearoa - Porirua approached Office Products On-line to provide a quotation to supply and install office furniture to upgrade five x administration offices, three classrooms, their campus auditorium and cafeteria - all within a pre-allocated capital expenditure budget.
Space was an issue in two of the five administration offices, so Office Product Online were contracted to design layouts to fit the required number of office desks and office screens within each area. 1800mm Flip Tables were proposed for the classrooms, to provide capacity for students to (cost effectively) share desk space and due to the mobility and 'nesting' functionality of the Flip Tables, provide additional flexibility and multi-purpose use of the Tables.
The project included supplying 350 x meeting room chairs for classrooms auditorium and cafeteria use - and the Buro Maxim stacking chair was chosen for this due to this chair being an extremely cost effective option. Installation was completed over a weekend - during campus downtime - to ensure minimum disruption to the teaching operation.
