Designed for strength and durability Long Span Shelving or Light Racking is the perfect storage solution for bulky or unusual shaped items. Standard shelves are up to 1800mm long x 900mm deep making the Long Span shelving very versatile in most bulk storage situations
- Manufactured in high grade powder-coated off-white steel. Other powder-coat colours are available on inquiry
- This system features fully welded upright frames ( in a choice of heights), dual punched on a 25mm pitch which when used with slim-line beams provides high capacity storage
- Clip over steel shelves provide easy cleaning and a high degree of adjustability throughout the system
- Versatile enough to be used for either general storage or retail display and due to the range of shelf sizes it can also be customised to provide solutions for specialsied requirements
- Longspan shelving is also commonly used in low temparature applications within the food industry where a pre-finished anti-corrosion substrate is added to the powder-coat finish
- All shelving components undergo a 3 stage iron phosphate pre-treatment and after oven drying this is followed by elcetrostatically applying the powder-coat which is then cured at 190 degrees. This creates a surface that is extremely durable and offers greater resistance to abrasion, chipping, chemicals and UV light
- The welded frames have overall load capacities between 1800kg and 2600kg and the individual beam levels can cope with 190kgs to 410kgs
