Umbilical Cable Management

Umbilical Cable Management System is specifically designed for cable protection when bringing power and data cables from the floor or ceiling to the work surface. The system comprises three separate compartments for cable distribution. Trax Umbilical kits are also available for height adjustable desks - and all Umbilicals are available in Clear, White or Black and can be customised to suit any ceiling height. Because all components clip together simply, on-site adjustment is easy and quick, by the addition or removal of extra pieces

  • The Umbilical System snap-together ‘Rigid Mode’ provides a self-supporting cable column as an integrated option within the system
  • At the same time, the snap-apart ‘Flexi Mode’ provides all the flexibility you need in an umbilical product
  • With its unique door innovation, the Umbilical has integrated doors that allow free access to cables at any point
  • When used from the floor to the desk, the system provides an attractive and flexible solution for cable distribution
  • The Flax Umbilical System is specifically designed to work with height adjustable desks
  • Umbilicals are available in Clear, White or Black 
  • The kit comprises of the Umbilical itself, a floor foot and a screw fixing anchor for the top. When used with raised access floors, the Umbilical can be fitted with a special grommet base that can be locked into a CMS Cableway 1000 access floor grommet. This provides an easy and neat transition from the floor to workspace 
  • Umbilicals can be installed after cables are in place
  • Cable can be accessed at anytime during installation
  • Extra wiring can be easily installed at any time in the future
  • Other mounting options available are the standard floor foot and wall plates (for mounting to a cavity wall)
