LOGICPlus electric mobile shelving combines the space saving effeciency of traditional mobile shelving systems with the convenience of state of the art computer controlled electric drive - to provide staff with a safe and effortless process to access, retreive and re-file records
- LOGICPlus mobile shelving users in New Zealand can now enjoy the security and health and safety benefits which have become the accepted standards overseas
- The mobile units are moved by simply touching a heat sensitive pad mounted on the front of the shelving. A number of mobile units will move simultaneously to create the required access aisle. The system has several active and passive safety features to ensure that the shelving can be accessed easily and safely at all times
- The system also features a high level of security allowing easily programmable controlled access for up to 10 x different user groups - using electronic swipe cards
- The electronic control system can be integrated with an existing building management system to create extra security - for example the mobile shelving can be programmed to react and close in response to a fire alarm or send an instruction to activate aisle lights when the system is being accessed
- The controllers and electric drive can be retrofitted to existing mechanically assisted mobile shelving systems
- As with manual, shuttle and mechanically assisted mobile shelving systems there are a number of shelving bay height, width and depth options available. Experienced consultants are available to come on site - or liase with your architect or designer - to scope the most suitable option available for your space, budget and storage capacity requirements
- These electrically drive mobile shelving systems are ideal where security of records is an issue or where the sheer volume of records/items being stored and the size of the system requires more than manual or mechanically assisted 'drivers'
- Systems can be supplied with solid powder-coated or melteca end panels to match any decor
- Systems can also be supplied with an infill floor to provide a level surface to the height of the tracks. This helps to avoid staff tripping on the protruding mobile shelving tracks
- Additional items such as shelf dividers, roll-out work shelves, roll-out drawers and coat hanger rails can also be supplied to make the storage system as flexible as possible. Please refer to separate listings for details of these items
