We supply a wide range of static library shelving components - including angled display shelves, flat shelves or shelves for the ends of rows - designed for corporate office libraries or for school, public or tertiary institution libraries.The library shelving bays can be single faced (against a wall), or double-faced (back to back)
- Manufactured in high grade welded/folded powder-coated steel. The standard powder-coat colours are off-white (cream) or midnight blue but other powder-coat colours are available on inquiry
- Supplied with fully welded frames with adjustable screw feet combined with horizontal back braces whcih clip in place and are then secured with steel locking studs. Diagonal and other bracing is provided where required for additional support
- Specified library shelving components are 'guided' by NZS4104 1994 Guidelines for Seismic Restraint of Building Contents
- 25mm profile shelves incorporate smooth safety edges for the library environment and are double flat folded front and rear for maximum strength
- Standard 170mm high overslung brackets are used to enhance stability on the shelves and these brackets can be installed left or right with a 1 degree backward tilt to support stability and promote book title presentation
- All libray shelving components are fully modular allowing an inter-change of components or later additions to compliment or update the overall system
- The shelving can be complimented with powder-coated steel or melteca end panels to match any interior colour scheme
- There are a range of shelf height, width and depth options available and shelves can be angled or flat on free-standing framesor on wall channels
- Due to the wide range of configuration options possible with any given floor area - including shelving around pillars or panels on the ends of shelving rows, experienced consultants are available to call on site - or liase with your architect or designer - to configure the most cost effective and space efficient library shelving system for your individual situation. In terms of layout design - there are a wide range of options available
- Library shelving is also available in mobile shelving bays (shelves on wheels)
