Corrosive substances need serious containment — and this cabinet doesn't mess around. Double steel walls with a 40mm air gap provide thermal insulation, while the 150mm liquid-tight sump catches spills before they spread. Stainless steel piano hinges, self-closing hydraulic door, adjustable shelves, and static earthing connection for safe storage in NZ workshops, labs and industrial sites.   • Suitable for storage of class 8 corrosive substances in liquid or solid form including acids, akalis, caustics, sodium hydroxide solutions and hypochlorite solution

  • Each shelf is supplied with plastic spill trays to contain small spills and leakages
  • Internal and external powder-coated paint finish for improved chemical resistance and additional powder-coating of the shelving and closing assembly for added protection

  • 50mm vent bungs for venting the cabinet where required
  • Static earthing connection - each cabinet comes with earthing wire to help reduce the potential build-up of static electricity, a known source of ignition
