30 Litre Corrosive Substances Storage Cabinet

Storing corrosive substances safely isn't negotiable — and this cabinet takes it seriously. Built with 1.2mm double steel walls, a 150mm liquid-tight sump, and adjustable shelves that fit acids, alkalis and caustics, it's engineered to contain spills before they become problems. Stainless steel hinges, self-closing hydraulic door with speed control, and static earthing connection keep your NZ workshop or lab compliant and protected. Arrives assembled with two keys and classification labels included.

  • Suitable for storage of class 8 corrosive substances in liquid or solid form including acids, akalis, caustics, sodium hydroxide solutions and hypochlorite solution

  • Each shelf is supplied with plastic spill trays to contain small spills and leakages
  • Internal and external powder-coated paint finish for improved chemical resistance and additional powder-coating of the shelving and closing assembly for added protection
  • Stainless steel piano hinges for added protection
  • Constructed using 1.2mm thick double steel walls with 40mm air gap between walls to provide thermal insulation
  • Single self closing and latching single door with speed adjustable hydraulic closure for gentle closing action
  • Slide control arm - single door cabinets include a slide control arm to prevent the door from being over extended
  • 150mm deep liquid tight sump for containing a leakage or spill
  • Recessed door handle with key lock to eliminate potential damage from heavy knocks - 2 keys are supplied with each cabinet (cabinets with locking handles)
  • 50mm vent bungs for venting the cabinet where required
  • Static earthing connection - each cabinet comes with earthing wire to help reduce the potential build-up of static electricity, a known source of ignition
  • Adjustable shelves with 45mm increments provide flexibility to meet your storage needs - 30 litre cabinet comes with 1 shelf to create 2 storage levels
