EFFICIENT SHELVING & STORAGE WILL SAVE SPACE!!

Perhaps I should have said, what is right with it!

For those of you either “in the know” or have an understanding of document storage you will see at a glance that:-

  • The shelving is not the required size for the boxes used.
  • There is wasted space between the shelving.
  • The boxes are not fit for the purpose of long term record storage. They are of poor quality and prone to collapsing.
  • There a number of documents not even in storage boxes.
  • For correct storage, boxes should not be connecting with each other. If space is at a premium boxes should have stoppers to protect them from any connection with each other.

Additionally there is what a photo cannot show – what is in the boxes:-

  • Money wasted by keeping documents longer than needed. This can be either paying for storage space or utilising space that could be more productively used elsewhere in the business.
  • Boxes not packed correctly and in some cases half-full so a business is in effect paying for AIR (very expensive Air). OR
  • They are packed so full there is a danger of documents being destroyed.

Do you know what is in all your document storage boxes and whether they are “past their use-by date”?

Looking at this picture I was reminded of my good friend, Ray Harding at Office Products Online. I have known Ray for many years and three things I do know are that Ray:-

  • always has the correct shelving and boxes for all document storage requirements.
  • would not have sold shelving/boxes unsuitable for any clients’ needs.
  • able to customise solutions for every specific client storage need.

With Ray’s merchandise and ability to customise solutions and our knowledge of documents storage & filing requirements we make a formidable team.

We all know correct storage of your documents is important and a legal requirement (in most cases) so let us solve your document storage for you.
